Hyperbole Mountain Bluegrass Extreme Music
for Extreme Times

From a small town at the base of the great Hyperbole Mountain comes a new band. We play songs from the bluegrass gospel tradition. Every now and then we might roll out a secular tune as long as it offers some good advice. But for the most part the show is words of warning and good old fire and brimstone.

We'll be playing where we're needed the most. That would be in the San Francisco Bay area. Come visit us some time. You can keep an eye on our upcoming gigs page or sign up for our mailing list. It's all about the music and the fun!

You can also visit us on myspace. We've put a few rough cuts up there.

We had a Bluegrass Bonanza at the Plough and Stars in SF
The Plough and Stars hosted a Shelby Ash Bluegrass Bonanza featuring the Earl Brothers, and us. We had one of our best sets ever and probably made at least one new believer...in the HMB. There was a write-up in the SF Weekly before the show and that must have brought in a few of the good people. You can read the article on our reviews page. There are more pictures by Paolo Vescia .
